The Axis Mutual Fund mobile application — available as “Axis Mutual Fund” on Google Play Store and Apple App Store — provides Axis AMC’s investors with a dedicated platform for portfolio management, SIP tracking, transaction execution, statement download, and account services, all from a single mobile interface. The app is separate from the Axis Direct stock trading app and from Axis Bank’s mobile banking app — it is specifically designed for Axis Mutual Fund investors managing their folio-based investments directly with the AMC.

Getting Started: Download and Login
Download: Search “Axis Mutual Fund” on Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Install the official app published by Axis Asset Management Company Ltd.
First-Time Registration: Open the app. If you have an existing Axis MF folio, tap “Register / Login.” Enter your registered mobile number or email and verify via OTP. Link your existing folio by entering your PAN card number for identity verification. If you are a new investor without an existing Axis MF folio, complete the KYC and account opening process through the app’s onboarding flow.
Login for Returning Users: Enter your registered mobile number or email. Verify with OTP or use the app’s MPIN (4 to 6-digit mobile PIN set during initial login) for faster access on trusted devices.
Viewing Your Portfolio
After login, the home dashboard displays your complete Axis MF portfolio — all active folios, current scheme holdings, invested value, current market value, and overall portfolio returns. Tap on any individual scheme to see the full holding detail: number of units, average cost NAV, current NAV, and the unrealised gain or loss on that position. The portfolio view is updated daily after market close with the latest NAV.
Starting a New SIP
- Step 1 — Tap “Invest” or “Start SIP.” From the home dashboard or the funds section, tap the investment button.
- Step 2 — Search and Select a Fund. Use the fund search bar to find the scheme you want. Axis MF’s full scheme catalogue — equity, debt, hybrid, index, and fund of funds — is searchable from this section. Tap the fund to view its current NAV, expense ratio, past returns, and portfolio details.
- Step 3 — Choose SIP Parameters. Select “SIP” as the investment mode. Enter the monthly SIP amount (minimum ₹100 for most Axis schemes). Select the SIP date — the day of the month the instalment will be executed. Choose Growth or IDCW option (Growth is recommended for most long-term SIPs).
- Step 4 — Set Up Auto-Pay Mandate. The first SIP instalment may be processed manually. For automatic subsequent instalments, the app walks you through setting up a UPI autopay or NACH bank mandate. UPI autopay is the fastest — approve through your UPI app when the mandate request arrives. NACH mandate takes 15 to 20 days to activate.
- Step 5 — Confirm and Submit. Review the SIP details and confirm. The SIP is activated and you receive a confirmation SMS and email.
Making a Lump Sum Investment
Tap “Invest” → Select fund → Choose “Lump Sum” → Enter amount → Select payment mode (UPI, net banking, or bank mandate) → Confirm. Units are allotted at the applicable cut-off NAV — same day if submitted before 3:00 PM on a business day.
Redeeming Mutual Fund Units
Navigate to Portfolio → Select the specific fund holding → Tap “Withdraw” or “Redeem” → Choose redemption type: By Amount, By Units, or Full Redemption → Enter the amount or units → Confirm with OTP. Proceeds are credited to your registered bank account within T+1 (debt funds) to T+3 (equity funds) business days.
Downloading Account Statements
Navigate to Menu or Profile → Account Statement → Select statement type (Transaction Statement or Capital Gains Statement) → Select date range → Submit. The statement is sent to your registered email as a password-protected PDF or displayed within the app for download.
Modifying an Existing SIP
Navigate to My SIPs in the app. Select the SIP you want to modify. Options include: pause SIP (1 to 3 months), cancel SIP, or increase SIP amount. Note that modifying the existing SIP amount requires cancelling the current instruction and setting up a new SIP at the revised amount on most AMC platforms — check whether the Axis MF app allows direct amount modification or requires a new SIP setup.
